It's a pleasure to welcome you. We hope you'll find something of interest here to read and think about. This website has only three pages: (1) this Welcome Page; (2) a Catalog Page with our available ebooks; and (3) a Contact Page with contact forms for you to interact with our Tailhook Ebook volunteers. You may link to these pages via the sliding menu at the left of most pages.

All publications on this site are written, edited, or collected by Naval and Marine aviators — or they are about Naval Aviation. Most focus on Navy, Marine, aviation, and military duty — both peacetime and wartime. But many are about interests developed in civilian life outside and beyond the military.

Tailhook Ebooks

Tailhook Ebooks is a sister website to the Naval Aviator Network (http://www.naval-aviator.net). The Naval Aviator Network started in 2007 as a website for Naval and Marine aviators to re-contact each other and to provide space for Network members to upload short autobiographies about their military careers and civilian accomplishments.

Some Network members also asked about a space to publish works larger than the short autobiographies. It seems that aviators have an impulse to write about their adventures, experiences, thoughts, and creative endeavors.

After an extensive bookmaster learning-period, Tailhook Ebooks came into being. Works offered here are written, collected and edited by Naval and Marine aviators — members of the Network.

All Tailhook Ebooks are published in Adobe PDF format. They are easily read from your browser with a free PDF reader, such as Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader. Descriptions, reviews and samples of each publication may be viewed from the ebook catalog.

A purchased ebook is sent to you as one or more email attachments. These publications may be read on a computer monitor, or a hard copy may be printed from the email attachment. For his efforts, an author might ask a token purchase price in recognition of his time spent in researching, writing, and preparing the publication. Purchases can be made on-line with most credit cards through Paypal.
